You can count on the Wheelwriter 30 Typewriter to be as valuable tomorrow as it is today. It’s based on the same 8088 microprocessor technology found in IBM personal computers. And it can be up-graded to a Wheelwriter 50 or 70 Series II Typewriter to meet your future needs.
 
 

The Bigger Picture

Just store your frequently used jobs once and reuse them without retyping. Or change them with advanced revision functions such as Search and Replace. And when you need to retrieve stored documents, you can find them easily with the Directory feature that displays the first 50 characters of each document.

Display your typing to the best advantage. With the Wheelwriter 30 Typewriter, you’ll always have your display line clearly in view. The high-resolution, 80-character liquid crystal display can be adjusted up or down for the most comfortable view-ing angle. So you won’t have any problem seeing your work—or the helpful mes-sages displayed on the screen.
Make spelling errors a thing of the past.
With the Wheelwriter 30 Typewriter, your work can be free of commonly mis-spelled words. The Spell Check II feature checks every word you type against a dictionary of 120,000 words—plus up to 300 words you add on your own. If a word is misspelled or not capital-ized when it should be, you’ll see up to six alternatives displayed. You just select the right word, and Spell Check II automatically makes the correction on the page and the display.

Adjustable one-line display lets you see what you’ve typed from a comfortable viewpoint.

Document storage offers 30,000 bytes of memory, or up to 15 pages of text, and can be expanded to 60,000 bytes.

Optional 3.5 -inch diskette unit offers virtually unlimited storage.

Annotated stop codes allow you to enter a comment or instruction to be displayed at specified stops.

Spell Check II supplies an interactive 120,000-word dictionary plus storage for unique words. It shows alternatives for misspelled words and helps you auto-matically make changes on the page as well as the display.

Tab Adjust allows you to adjust columnar text in storage to new tab settings.

Search and Replace lets you quickly find and change words in storage.

Easy document access makes it simple to get a listing of what’s stored in memory, including name, amount of storage remaining, and margin settings.

Document assembly means you can create new documents from previously stored material.
